Master's Exchange Programme

CUHK Business Master’s offers a structured academic opportunity that allows master’s students to spend a term in an academic year studying at one of our partner institutions abroad. While remaining enrolled in CUHK Business School, the Master’s Exchange Programme aims to enrich students’ academic, cultural, and professional experiences by immersing them in a disparate educational environment, fostering global perspectives, and enhancing career advancements.

Students will take specialised courses or participate in group projects at a host institution, with units transferring back to CUHK. To enroll in the exchange programme, students should achieve good academic standing and demonstrate a motivating purpose for overseas studies.

A Master’s Exchange Programme is more than academic learning – it is also a transformative experience that shapes global mindsets, builds networks and challenges personal development.

Overseas Field Study Trip

To engage students in hands-on learning of real-world applications and scenarios related to business operations, management and innovations, field study trip courses are dedicated to taking students to an immersive educational experience outside the lecture halls. Typically offered in a 1-week residential programme, an overseas field study course requires students to prepare themselves through article readings and study planning before the trip. The course will be concluded with a written report and oral presentation. Throughout the previous years, our Master’s programmes have brought students to different countries including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Switzerland, Germany, the US, etc.
