This programme offers a well-rounded curriculum and comprehensive training in marketing, equipping students to execute effective campaigns and make timely strategic decisions using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Students can specialise in AI and Quantitative Marketing or Managerial Marketing based on their career goals.
To complete the programme, you will need to attain a total of 36 credits of coursework, comprising of 4 core courses, 4 concentration required courses and 4 elective courses worth 3 credits each.

To fulfill the elective course requirement, students may choose up to 6 units of required course(s) from the other concentration, subject to availability of enrolment quota.

Students may choose up to 3 units of course(s) offered by MBA, MAcc and other MSc programmes of the Faculty of Business Administration, and the MSSc in Advertising of the Faculty of Social Science counting towards elective course requirement, subject to the approval of Programme Directors concerned.

With the support of the Career Development and Corporate Engagement Office, students receive personalised guidance across all aspects of career development, including career planning, CV writing, and interview preparation. Students also gain access to potential job opportunities through company visits, recruitment talks, and career fairs, helping them realise their potential and launch their careers with confidence.
Non-local Students
Non-local students studying in Hong Kong will receive a “No Objection Letter” (NOL) from the Hong Kong Immigration Department along with their student visa. Upon securing endorsement from the Programme, this letter enables them to undertake curriculum-related internships and part-time on-campus employment during their studies. (Subject to change based on the latest HKSAR Government announcement.)
After graduation, you may also apply for an IANG visa to remain in Hong Kong and explore job opportunities.

Alumni Referrals Inspire Tomorrow’s Marketing Leaders
As a CUHK MScMKT alumnus, you are the greatest advocate for our programme. You know what it takes to be successful in MScMKT Programme and have a good understanding of the type of talent we are seeking.

For the candidates who are referred by our alumni or current students, a dedicated admission round will be arranged. The general admission is on a rolling basis and we will stop evaluating candidates once the admission quota is fulfilled, except for the candidates who apply through this Alumni Referral Programme. The deadline for the applications through the Alumni Referral Programme is 1 December 2026.
The applicants who apply through this Alumni Referral Programme should satisfy the admission requirements and selection standards as normal applicants.

The tuition fees for the academic year 2027/2028 are HK$410,000. (Subject to the University’s Approval)
Tuition can be paid in 3 instalments:
- HK$130,000 (retention fees) within 2 weeks of confirming your offer
- HK$140,000 (at the beginning of the 2nd trimester)
- HK$140,000 (at the beginning of the 3rd trimester)
